This latest B-Class isn't just longer, lower and wider than the previous model – it's a completely different animal.

Showcasing a new Mercedes-Benz design language, the compact sports tourer's many eye-catching features include distinctive character lines carved into the flanks, pronounced wheel arches and a gently falling roof line. Signature details such as the new-shape headlamps with LED daytime running lights and a choice of alloy wheels further enhance the car's agile, purposeful looks.

But the low stance and sweeping, dramatic forms of the B-Class aren't just for show. They're integral to the car's class leading drag coefficient of just 0.26 Cd.

Interior

Relaxed yet refined
Developed in our design studio in Lake Como, Italy, the B-Class interior is a study in cool, contemporary style. Setting the tone for a new generation of Mercedes-Benz compact vehicles, it combines the same high quality materials and finishes normally associated with our larger models with an array of striking visual touches.

For example, there are the SLS AMG-inspired air vents and the same leather and silver chrome multi-function steering wheel you'll find in the CLS-Class. Together, all these elements - the analogue dials, the rounded shapes, the tablet-style display, the sweeping dashboard – make the cabin seem more inviting and contemporary, less reserved, than its predecessor.

It's spacious too. The legroom in the rear seats actually surpasses that of an S-Class or an E-Class and, with all seats in place, load capacity is 486 litres. Should more space be required, the versatile interior can be easily rearranged.
